Illustration Libray

Project Description
During my time at Fjord (Accenture Interactive) as a visual and service designer, I worked on several conceptual projects focused on creating visual journeys to convey the strategic vision of the product. My responsibilities included designing posters featuring timelines, structuring information, and crafting illustrations to depict various scenarios.

However, while working in a diverse team, I noticed that my business colleagues, the sales team, and other peers lacked the visual tools to effectively express their storytelling. To support them and add value to their work, I developed an illustration library. This resource enables them to save time by avoiding lengthy searches for needed illustrations, reduce costs by eliminating the need to hire illustrators for every project, and gain more autonomy in their communication efforts.
Role
· Illustration
· Creator of the library
Outcomes
The initial goal of this project was to create illustrations for a journey that would explain a service. However, it evolved into a resource that empowers anyone, regardless of their illustration skills, to develop their own scenarios.

With my Japanese background, I have a strong affinity for comics and illustrations, which offer unique storytelling methods. Drawing inspiration from this, I designed the library like a cooking recipe, where users can find all the essential ingredients—from basic elements like eyes, mouths, and hands to more complex components like houses and cities. This design allows them to create a wide variety of visual outcomes.

This illustration library simplifies the often complex task of creating visuals. By leveraging my design skills and understanding user needs, I produced simple, neutral illustrations that are easy to adapt and explore.

After a few months, this library gained traction and was adopted not only at Fjord Spain but also at Fjord Stockholm, providing significant value to teams across both locations.
